Minutes of Technical Meeting

The championship will be played in 10 rounds Swiss system
Rate of Play: 90 minutes for all the moves with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from move one
Grace time: 30 minutes from the start of the round.
Draw agreement: Players cannot agree to a draw in less than 25 moves, without the consent of the arbiter.
Even if there is a three fold repetition, they have to claim from the arbiter.

Tiebreak: Buchholz Cut 1, Cut 2, Sonneborn Berger and Median Buchholz
Prize money will not be shared

Analysis is not allowed in the playing hall
As long as the game is in progress a player may talk only to an arbiter or to his opponent as permitted by the Laws of Chess.

Mobile phones or any electronic devices are not allowed inside the tournament hall

Protests, if any, shall be made in writing with protest fee of Rs.500/- within 30 minutes of the occurrence of the incident. The amount shall be refunded, if the appeal is upheld.
